1. Coach is not a doctor, dietitian or physiotherapist
Coach produces general fitness and nutrition guidance. It is not medical advice, not a diagnosis, not a treatment plan, and it does not create a doctor–patient, dietitian–client or trainer–client relationship between you and Fitscapes.
Talk to a qualified professional before acting on anything Coach says if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, under 18, managing a diagnosed condition (including diabetes, hypertension, heart, kidney, liver or thyroid conditions, or an eating disorder), taking prescription medication, recovering from surgery, or working around an injury.
If something hurts, stop. If you have chest pain, breathlessness, dizziness or fainting during exercise, seek medical attention rather than asking Coach.
2. How the numbers are produced
Energy and macro targets are computed in code from published formulas — Mifflin-St Jeor for basal metabolic rate, an activity multiplier, and a goal-scaled split — using the height, weight, age and activity level you enter. They are population estimates, not measurements of your body. Individual requirements vary with genetics, body composition, medication, sleep, stress and training history, and a formula cannot see any of that.
Coach interprets those numbers in language; it does not do the arithmetic itself. That reduces the chance of an invented figure, but it does not make the estimate right for you. Treat every target as a starting point to adjust from, not a prescription.
Garbage in, garbage out: if the physique details you enter are wrong, every number downstream is wrong with them.
3. Supplements are food, not medicine
Products in our supplements aisle are sold as health supplements and nutraceuticals under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 and the regulations made under it. They are not drugs. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and no claim on this site should be read as saying otherwise.
A supplement stack Coach suggests is a suggestion, not a recommendation to stop or replace prescribed medication. Some supplements interact with medication — check with a doctor or pharmacist first if you take any.
Always read the label, ingredient list and dosage on the pack itself before use. Where the pack and this website disagree, the pack is correct. Keep supplements out of reach of children.
If you compete under an anti-doping code, verify every product against your federation’s current list yourself. We do not certify any product as batch-tested or competition-safe, and a product being listed here is not clearance to take it.
4. Training carries risk
Strength training, running, contact sport and the use of gym equipment carry an inherent risk of injury. You take that risk on yourself. Warm up, use loads you can control, and get qualified in-person coaching for technical lifts rather than learning them from a plan on a screen.
5. Product information and pricing
Product descriptions, images, specifications, weights, sizes and ingredient lists on this site are supplied by brands, sellers and distributors, and we reproduce them in good faith. Manufacturers change formulations and packaging without notice. The physical product and its label are the authority, not our listing.
Colours vary between screens. Prices, offers and availability can change without notice, and an item appearing on this site is not a guarantee that it is in stock. Where a listing carries an obvious pricing error, we may cancel and refund rather than fulfil — see the Cancellation policy.
6. Third-party brands and trademarks
Brand names, logos and product marks shown on Fitscapes — including but not limited to Nike, Adidas, Puma, Reebok, Yonex, Gymshark and YoungLA — are the trademarks of their respective owners. They appear here to identify the products being offered.
Their appearance does not mean Fitscapes is an authorised dealer, official distributor, affiliate or partner of that brand, and does not imply that the brand endorses or sponsors Fitscapes. Where we are formally authorised by a brand, we say so on the listing itself. Everything else is sourced through the marketplace and pre-order routes described in our Terms of Service.
7. External links
Some pages link out to brand sites, sellers, articles or research. We don’t control those destinations and aren’t responsible for their content, their accuracy, or what they do with your data once you land there.
8. Community content
Posts, comments and training advice shared by members are the views of the people who wrote them, not of Fitscapes, and are not vetted by us for accuracy or safety. See the Community Guidelines for what is allowed and how to report something.
9. Pre-launch status
Fitscapes is a pilot. Some surfaces are demonstrations of features that are not live yet, and they are labelled as such where they appear. Sample figures shown in a preview are illustrative and are not claims about real usage.
